The Phariseeswent out and immediately began conspiring with the 1Herodiansagainst Him, as to how they might destroy Him.

2Jesuswithdrew to the sea with His disciples; and 3a greatmultitude from Galileefollowed; and also from Judea,

and from Jerusalem, and from 4Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and the vicinity of 5Tyre and Sidon, a greatnumber of peopleheard of all that He was doing and came to Him.

6And He told His disciples that a boat should standready for Him because of the crowd, so that they would not crowd Him;
10
for He had 7healedmany, with the result that all those whohad8afflictionspressedaround Him in order to 9touch Him.

Whenever the uncleanspiritssaw Him, they would falldownbefore Him and shout, "You are 10the Son of God!"

And He 11earnestlywarned them not to tellwho He was.

13 And He went up on 12the mountain and 13summoned those whom He Himselfwanted, and they came to Him.

And He appointedtwelve, so that they would be with Him and that He could send them out to preach,
