15 y dijo: Bendito sea el SEÑOR, Dios de Israel, que habló por su boca a mi padre David y por su mano lo ha cumplido, cuando dijo:

1 Kings 8:15

And he said, blessed be the Lord God of Israel
All praise and glory, honour and blessing, be ascribed to the Lord; who had afresh shown himself to be Israel's covenant God, by taking up his residence among them in the temple he had filled with his glory:

which spake with his mouth to David my father, and hath with his hand
fulfilled it;
who graciously promised him he should have a son that should build an house for him, and which he had by his power and providence faithfully performed; or rather which spake concerning David, so Noldius ^F24; for God did not speak with his mouth to David, but to Nathan, of him: saying; as follows.

13 Ciertamente yo te he edificado una casa majestuosa, un lugar para tu morada para siempre.

14 Después el rey se volvió y bendijo a toda la asamblea de Israel, mientras toda la asamblea de Israel estaba de pie,

15 y dijo: Bendito sea el SEÑOR, Dios de Israel, que habló por su boca a mi padre David y por su mano lo ha cumplido, cuando dijo:

16 "Desde el día en que saqué a mi pueblo Israel de Egipto, no escogí ninguna ciudad de entre todas las tribus de Israel en la cual edificar una casa para que mi nombre estuviera allí, mas escogí a David para que estuviera sobre mi pueblo Israel."

17 Y mi padre David tuvo en su corazón edificar una casa al nombre del SEÑOR, Dios de Israel.
