Twisted Scripture Genesis 9:3

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, argues that Genesis 1:30 proves God’s intention for humanity is to be vegan, not to eat any animal-based product. They likewise quote Matthew 5:7 to make their argument about being vegan. However, Genesis 9:3 is plain: God has given not only plants as food for humanity, he has also given animals as food for humanity. Human consumption of meat is not unbiblical. It is, in fact, completely biblical and ordained by God himself. God, as a blessing, gave meat to humanity as food, therefore we should receive it as such and be good stewards of the blessing of food.
