Ishtar gate in Pergamon museum in Berlin

The Ishtar Gate was built by Nebuchadnezzar II around 575 BC. It was named for the Babylonian goddess of love and war. It served as the main entrance to Babylon. It was one of the initial Seven Wonders of the World.
