Chapter Overview:
Johanan and the people desire Jeremiah to enquire of God, promising obedience to his will, ver. 1 - 6.
Jeremiah assures them of safety in Judea, ver. 7 - 12.
and destruction in Egypt, ver. 13 - 18.
Reproves their hypocrisy and obstinacy, ver. 19 - 22.
