3 Yīnwei Yóudà wáng Xīdǐjiā yǐ jiāng tā qiújìn , shuō , nǐ wèishénme yùyán shuō , Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , wǒ bìjiāng zhè chéng jiāo zaì Bābǐlún wáng de shǒu zhōng , tā bì gōng qǔ zhè chéng .

Jeremiah 32:3

For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up
In prison, at least in the court of the prison; he had given orders for his imprisonment, which were executed, and it was the same as if he had done it himself; the reason of which was, as follows: saying, wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, thus saith the Lord,
behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and
he shall take it?
meaning the city of Jerusalem, now besieged by the king of Babylon. This prophecy stands in ( Jeremiah 34:1-3 ) ; the prophecies of this book not being put together in proper order of time.

1 Yóudà wáng Xīdǐjiā dì shí nián , jiù shì Níbùjiǎnísǎ shí bá nián , Yēhéhuá de huà líndào Yēlìmǐ .

2 Nàshí Bābǐlún wáng de jūnduì wéi kùn Yēlùsǎlĕng , xiānzhī Yēlìmǐ qiú zaì hùwèi bīng de yuàn neì , zaì Yóudà wáng de gōng zhōng .

3 Yīnwei Yóudà wáng Xīdǐjiā yǐ jiāng tā qiújìn , shuō , nǐ wèishénme yùyán shuō , Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , wǒ bìjiāng zhè chéng jiāo zaì Bābǐlún wáng de shǒu zhōng , tā bì gōng qǔ zhè chéng .

4 Yóudà wáng Xīdǐjiā bì bùnéng taótuō Jiālèdǐ rén de shǒu , déng yào jiāo zaì Bābǐlún wáng de shǒu zhōng , yào kǒu duì kǒu bǐcǐ shuōhuà , yǎn duì yǎn bǐcǐ xiāng kàn .

5 Bābǐlún wáng bìjiāng Xīdǐjiā daì dào Bābǐlún . Xīdǐjiā bì zhù zaì nàli , zhídào wǒ juàngù tāde shíhou . nǐmen suī yǔ Jiālèdǐ rén zhēng zhàn , què bù shùnlì . zhè shì Yēhéhuá shuō de .
