8 Er aber sprach: Sehet zu, daß ihr nicht verführt werdet! Denn viele werden unter meinem Namen kommen und sagen: Ich bin's und die Zeit ist nahe gekommen! Gehet ihnen nun nicht nach.

Luke 21:8

And he said, take heed that ye be not deceived
With false Christs, and false prophets: for many shall come in my name;
making use of his name, taking it to them; not that they would pretend they were sent by him, but that they were he himself: saying, I am [Christ];
so the Syriac and Persic versions supply as we do: and the time draweth near;
not that such will come, but when come, they will say, that the time of the deliverance of the Jewish nation from the Roman yoke is at hand: go ye not therefore after them;
do not be their disciples, or follow them where they would lead you; for nothing but destruction will be the consequence of it.

6 Diese Dinge, die ihr sehet, Tage werden kommen, in welchen nicht ein Stein auf dem anderen gelassen wird, der nicht abgebrochen werden wird.

7 Sie fragten ihn aber und sagten: Lehrer, wann wird denn dieses sein, und was ist das Zeichen, wann dieses geschehen soll?

9 Wenn ihr aber von Kriegen und Empörungen hören werdet, so erschrecket nicht; denn dies muß zuvor geschehen, aber das Ende ist nicht alsbald.

10 Dann sprach er zu ihnen: Es wird sich Nation wider Nation erheben und Königreich wider Königreich;
