Prophecy Against Moab and Seir

8 "Thus says the Lord GOD: Because ¹Moab and ²Seir^[a] said, 'Behold, the ³house of Judah is like all the other nations,'

9 therefore ⁴I will lay open the flank of Moab from the cities, from its cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, ⁵Beth-jeshimoth, ⁶Baal-meon, and ⁷Kiriathaim.

10 I will give it ⁸along with the Ammonites ⁹to the people of the East as a possession, ¹⁰that the Ammonites may be remembered no more among the nations,

11 ¹¹and I will execute judgments upon Moab. ¹²Then they will know that I am the LORD.

INTRODUCTION TO EZEKIEL 25

In this chapter the prophet foretells the judgments of God upon the Ammonites, Moabites, Edomites, and Philistines, for their ill usage of the Jews; on the Ammonites, Eze 25:1-7, on the Moabites, Eze 25:8-11, on the Edomites, Eze 25:12-14, on the Philistines, Eze 25:15-17.
