Rejoice yeinthatday,and leap for joy: for,behold, yourreward is greatinheaven:forin the like mannerdidtheirfathers unto the prophets.

Butwoe unto you that are rich!for ye have receivedyourconsolation.

Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laughnow!for ye shall mournandweep.

Woe unto you,whenallmen shall speakwell of you!forso*didtheirfathers to the false prophets.

But I say unto youwhichhear, Loveyourenemies,dogood to them whichhateyou,

Bless them that curseyou,andprayfor them which despitefully useyou.

And unto him that smiteththeeon the one cheekofferalso the other;andhim that taketh awaythyclokeforbidnot to take thy coatalso.

Give to every man that asketh of thee;andof him that taketh away thy goodsask them notagain.

Andas ye wouldthatmen should do to you,doyealso to themlikewise.

Forif ye love them which loveyou,whatthankhaveye?forsinnersalsolove those that lovethem.

Andif ye do good to them which do good to you,whatthankhaveye?forsinners also doeven the same.

Andif ye lend to them ofwhom ye hope to receive, whatthankhaveye?forsinnersalsolend to sinners,toreceive as muchagain.

But love yeyourenemies,and do good, andlend, hoping for nothingagain; andyourreward shall begreat,and ye shall be the children of the Highest:forheiskindunto the unthankfuland to the evil.

Be yethereforemerciful,asyourFatheralsoismerciful.

Judgenot,and ye shallnot be judged: condemnnot,and ye shallnot be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Give, and it shall be given unto you;goodmeasure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men giveintoyourbosom.For with the samemeasurethat ye mete withal it shall be measured to youagain.

And he spake a parable unto them*, Can the blindlead the blind? shall theynotbothfallinto the ditch?

The discipleisnotabovehismaster:but every one that is perfect shall beashismaster.

Andwhy beholdest thou the mote that is inthybrother'seye,butperceivestnot the beam that is in thine owneye?

Eitherhow canst thousay to thybrother,Brother, let me pull out the mote that is inthineeye, when thouthyselfbeholdestnot the beam that is inthine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast outfirst the beam out of thine owneye,andthen shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is inthybrother'seye.

For a goodtreebringeth*notforthcorruptfruit;neitherdoth a corrupttree bring forthgoodfruit.

Foreverytree is knownby his ownfruit.Forofthorns men do notgatherfigs,norof a bramble bush gather theygrapes.[a]

A goodman out of the goodtreasure of hisheart bringeth forth that which is good;and an evilman out of the eviltreasure of hisheart bringeth forth that which is evil:forof the abundance of the hearthismouthspeaketh.

Andwhy call yeme,Lord,Lord,anddonot the things which I say?

Whosoevercomethtome,andhearethmysayings,anddoeththem, I will shewyou to whom he islike:

He islike a manwhichbuilt an house,anddiggeddeep, andlaid the foundationon a rock:and when the floodarose, the stream beat vehemently upon thathouse,andcouldnotshakeit:for it was founded upon a rock.

But he that heareth, anddoethnot,islike a man that without a foundationbuilt an houseupon the earth;againstwhich the stream did beat vehemently, andimmediately it fell; and the ruin of thathousewasgreat.
