Bible Verses About Signs and Wonders
Signs and Wonders in the Bible: Do Miracles Still Happen Today?

Have you ever witnessed something so extraordinary that it left you wondering, Was that a miracle? In the Christian faith, these astonishing moments—often called signs and wonders—are seen as powerful displays of God’s presence and intervention. From the parting of the Red Sea to Jesus healing the blind, the Bible is filled with miraculous events that left people in awe and strengthened their faith.

In the book of Acts, signs and wonders were a key part of the early church, confirming the message of Jesus and drawing people to faith. The apostles performed incredible miracles, showing that Jesus was indeed the promised Messiah. Jesus Himself even said in John 4:48, “Unless you see signs and wonders, you will not believe.” Paul echoed this in 2 Corinthians 12:12, explaining that miraculous signs were a mark of true apostleship.

But what about today? Do signs and wonders still happen, or were they just for biblical times? Many believers in Pentecostal and charismatic movements say yes, pointing to modern-day healings, prophetic experiences, and unexplained phenomena as proof of God’s continuing work. Others believe that while miracles do happen, faith should not depend solely on supernatural signs.

So, how should we interpret signs and wonders today? Are they divine road signs pointing us toward God, or is there always a logical explanation? Let’s take a deeper dive into what the Bible says and what these extraordinary moments mean for our faith today. Below is a collection of Bible verses about signs and wonders.
